Cheryl Elman
Cheryl is the President & Marketing Force behind DEHI. She began her teaching career as a high school teacher, and owned a mobile arts and crafts and instructed 10-400 children simultaneously.
Overall, she has over 30 years in the field of education. This experience has made her uniquely equipped to become a hypnosis trainer and counselor to students all around the world.
Cheryl has also worked as a Vice President, Trainer and Manager of two companies in New York City for 14 years. Whether she is working with a client during a one-on-one Hypnosis session or teaching a class full of future Hypnotists, she brings humor, energy and creativity to every situation.
With a B.S. Ed in Varying Exceptionalities and Elementary Education, she Cheryl is committed helping families improve their relationships by using SleepTalk methods.

Dr. Jodie Solberg
Jodie’s greatest joy and purpose is guiding others to connect with their inner wisdom, find their unique identity and voice, and to create a life they love with tools and resources they can pass on to the next generation.
In her private hypnotherapy practice, Psyched Up Success, she specializes in helping clients heal from the effects of trauma, anxiety, and addiction, empowering them to shift unhealthy patterns, gain clarity and confidence, cultivate inner peace and work-life harmony, and achieve sustainable success while prioritizing self-care and compassion.
Her approach is deeply trauma-informed, weaving together neuroscience, subconscious transformation, and somatic awareness.

Teach Parents to build their Children's
Self Esteem & Emotional Resilience
You are invited to apply to become a SleepTalk® Specialist. Acceptance into the 6-month guaranteed support program to become a Specialist is being offered to professionals with qualifications and experience in an appropriate field of the ‘helping professions, e.g., Clinical Hypnotherapy, Health Care, Communication, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Naturopathy, or Counselling.
Current membership in an appropriate, relevant health-related professional association is required. This 6-month study course will take place for three days spread out as you progress with your parents, plus some additional meetings.
Ongoing support will be offered via ZOOM with your trainer, Cheryl Elman, plus a members-only group and a register listing on our Specialist register upon completion. The Self-Paced training levels comprise structured discussions and exercises, which cover about 24 hours of practical training and offer about 120 nominal hours of learning.
Participants are encouraged to start with clients immediately after taking their initial two segments. Your first two clients become your case histories and part of the assessment structure for you to become certified.

No two children and families have the same needs or relationship styles.
We begin with a foundation for the parents to tell their children in their sleep.
Through assessments, we create an individualized statement plan for every child.
On completion of the entire SleepTalk Training, you will be able to:
- Analyze the framework of the SleepTalk program
- Discuss the rationale behind the use of SleepTalk
- Describe the basic considerations and assumptions of the SleepTalk program components
- Identify, discuss, and analyze the ‘Legacy Tree’.
- Discuss the therapeutic approach to resolving basic and primary issues and identifying brainwave frequencies.
- Identify different brainwave frequencies that occur throughout the sleeping cycle.
- Evaluate the relevancy and explain the Goulding ‘Top Hat’ theory.
- Discuss the ‘RAS’ relevant to different brainwave frequencies.
- Develop a communication template objective.
- Assess the appropriateness and application of specific suggestions.
- Describe the ‘Foundation Process’.
- Evaluate the relevancy and analyze SleepTalk® feedback statements.
- Apply concepts and principles of waking suggestion and the rationale for presenting SleepTalk® each night.
- Outline a frame of reference that will provide the desired changes in behavior.
- Distinguish appropriate suggestions.
- Propose and implement a process that integrates desired behavior changes in a child.
- Formulate specific content of the ‘SleepTalk® Primary area on need’ script.
- Propose and implement a process that will provide desired changes of behavior in a child.
